Jeffrey P. Marathas Esq. is the founding Member of MARATHAS IMMIGRAITON LAW PLLC. His practice involves all aspects of immigration law. Mr. Marathas represents individual, corporate, and institutional clients on a complete range of immigration matters, with particular emphasis on investment-based and business-based immigration. He is well known in the French speaking communities of Arizona and South Florida as he assists clients with immigrant and non-immigrant visas in all categories and professions. Mr. Marathas regularly appears before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Consulates worldwide.
He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Law Center, where he simultaneously obtained his Juris Doctor and second Bachelors degree in Civil law. He is fluent in French, studied at the Universite D’Aix-Marseille III, Faculte’ de Droit, in Aix-en-Provence, France. He also holds a Bacherlor’s degree from Arizona State University, and received specialized training at Yale University School of Medicine.
Mr. Marathas provides counsel regarding sophisticated business structures for immigration purposes, as well as lecturing overseas on international trade and treaty laws. While acting as the official U.S. Delegate to the Marrakech Attorney’s Association in Marrakech, Morocco, he was made an honorary foreign member of the Marrakech Bar and acted as Counsel for the delegation of the Marrakech/Scottsdale Sisters Cities Association.
In addition, Mr. Marathas acts as special Foreign Counsel to Bertrand and Associates, Paris, France, one of Europe’s leading Sports and Entertainment law firms, where he advises the Firm’s Athletes and Performers who wish to invest, work, and reside the United States.
He is available to speak before professional associations, and trade groups, and hosts informational seminars and workshops worldwide that are aimed to educate and inform individuals and businesses on various immigration topics and trends happening in the United States.
Mr. Marathas is a member in good standing of the Arizona Bar, and practices Federal Immigration Law in all applicable jurisdictions.
