Mr. Liberatore graduated in 1980 from Columbia University in New York, New York with a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Spanish Literature. He then attended law school at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1983
Following graduation from law school, Mr. Liberatore was awarded a fellowship from the Organization of American States (OAS) to study environmental law in Brazil. He thereafter spent a short time in California, where he became a member of the California Bar and worked as a securities litigation attorney. In 1986, Mr. Liberatore relocated to ão Paulo, Brazil, where he worked as in-house counsel for a Brazilian law firm.
Mr. Liberatore returned to the United States in 1989, relocating to Miami, Florida. Shortly thereafter, in 1990, he established his own law firm. Since that time, Mr. Liberatore has dedicated his practice to business immigration matters.
Mr. Liberatore is admitted to practice in California and Massachusetts, and he represents immigration clients in all 50 states and worldwide.
He is also registered with the Brazilian Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil) as a Foreign Law Consultant in Brazil.
