Graduated in July 15, 1983 from Central University in Santa Clara (Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas - UCLV), Cuba as Licensed in Law; I practiced law in Cuba as Criminal Defense Attorney and Civil Litigator until I escaped in a raft on August 1994. On May 2002 I obtained a Juris Doctor Degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. I started practicing law in Miami Florida on February 2004. I have a general practice with emphasis on Immigration, Insurance Law, Criminal Defense including Traffic Citations, Real Estate; and Corporate Law. I have handled several high profile cases including four criminal defenses in capital punishment cases in Cuba. I have also served as expert witness in Cuba law well known cases before U.S. Federal Courts involving Cuban anti-Castro activists. I have represented Cuban heirs before U.S. courts. I have always served my clientele with the utmost sincerity.
