Vivianna Stubbe is an immigration attorney and a founding partner of the law firm of Haratz & Stubbe, LLC, with more than a decade of experience advocating on behalf of immigrants. She represents clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. embassies and consulates, and the Immigration Courts.
Over the years, Ms. Stubbe has handled complex immigration cases and appeals before various federal agencies. She has also helped numerous individuals obtain their lawful permanent residence through family relationships, VAWA self-petitions, and U Non-Immigrant Visas. In addition, Ms. Stubbe has vast experience in obtaining visas for artists and entertainers, persons of extraordinary ability, and investors.
EDUCATION
Ms. Stubbe holds a J.D. from Fordham University Law School, and also has a B.A. in International Studies from Boston College.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Stubbe is a member of the Florida Bar since 2003 and is a native speaker and writer of English and Spanish.
Before joining Haratz & Stubbe, Ms. Stubbe was an attorney at Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center (FIAC), now Americans for Immigrant Justice, a Miami-based non-governmental organization. At FIAC, Ms. Stubbe provided legal representation and training in immigration matters through FIAC’s Lucha: A Women’s Legal Project, where she represented immigrant victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, violent crimes, human trafficking, and other abuses.
She was also contracted by the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women, Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and Florida Department of Children and Families to provide trainings locally, statewide, and nationally on the rights and needs of immigrant victims.
Ms. Stubbe has trained law enforcement, victim advocates, judges and court staff, government officials, domestic violence shelter staff, social and legal service providers, and other professionals.
Prior to working at FIAC, Ms. Stubbe worked on immigration cases in New York City at Lincoln Square Legal Services and the New York Legal Assistance Group. She also interned at the Centro de Derechos Humanos Miguel Agustin Pro Juarez in Mexico City.
