Chrystine Martinez, Esq., is an associate with the firm and practices primarily in the areas of family petitions, provisional waivers and asylums. Ms. Martinez has appeared before immigration officers in Florida, California, New York, Kansas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Texas, and Chicago.

Ms. Martinez is originally from Puerto Rico, fluent in both English and Spanish. In 2013, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Inter American University School of Law in Puerto Rico with a Juris Doctor degree. Ms. Martinez earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of Puerto Rico.

In her final semester of law school, Ms. Martinez interned with the Federal Public Defender in Puerto Rico where she experienced all stages of the legal representation of indigent defendants. Ms. Martinez also served as a legal intern at The Legal Aid Society in New York where she provided indigent defense services.

Ms. Martinez previously volunteered with Catholic Legal Services (CCLS) in Miami Florida, where she provided immigration-related legal services to indigent immigrants.

Ms. Martinez is a member in good standing of the Puerto Rico Bar and of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
