Ms. Moreno-Diaz earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Externado University of Colombia. She also earned a Diploma in Commercial Law from Externado University of Colombia; a Diploma in US Legal System from University El Rosario in Colombia; and a Master in International Law (LLM) from American University in Washington, D.C.

Licensed attorney in Colombia and before the Supreme Court of the State of Louisiana in the United States of America, she is also a Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and mentor of law students at the Southeastern Nova University in Florida.

She is also a volunteer on the preparation of cases for unaccompanied minors entering the United States at the Association of Americans for Immigration Justice.

A frequent lecturer on Immigration matters, Ms. Moreno-Diaz has spoken at numerous National and International Conferences in Colombia, Chile, and Uruguay.
