Ms. Acevedo is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish and English.
She has been practicing in immigration law for fifteen (15) years. Ms. Acevedo’s practice focuses exclusively on Immigration and Nationality Law. She has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University, Miami, Florida and a Juris Doctor (JD) from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
She also studied in Spain for two (2) years and did an internship at the Trade Commission of Spain in Miami, Florida. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2005 and is also admitted to several district court of appeals.
